..on September 3rd. We had a wonderful time with her. She is a very special girl and there were tears at the airport. Claire (who is also from Taiwan) was headed back to Vancouver on the same flight. Last week we got a call from YoYo saying thanks and that she made it safely to Taipei. Her father also thanked us and invited us to Taiwan some day! We definitely have much to be thankful for; the time we had together with YoYo was precious.
(For those interested: Friendspeak was the first connection that brought YoYo to our home. We met YoYo through a friend named Sheri who is a Friendspeak reader. at our church.)

I can tell that she was one of those "joyful, warm, thoughtful friends who enrichs one's life" kind of person and I'm glad that you were able to host her.
